The Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team has gone from strength to strength in 2014, continuing its work mapping for disaster response/distaster preparedness, and mapping the developing world. H.O.T. brings OpenStreetMap into the humanitarian realm, using OSM technology, the mapping platform and database, but perhaps most importantly the OSM community. In 2014 we responded to typhoon Haiyan, and the ebola epidemic, we continued our work in Indonesia, and we progressed with building our organisation. There remains range of exciting opportunities for anyone with OpenStreetMap skills to get involved.
